HOW TO HELP
Our financial assistance program is available for working men and women who support themselves, their families and their communities and are unable to qualify for help anywhere else. Combined Federal Campaign and Employee Giving Programs provide a great resource of funding for Working Families’ Friend. Other sources include donations or sponsorships from individuals, local unions, and corporations, a variety of grants, and our Fundraising Events. It is an ongoing goal to widely diversify funding sources in order to serve a broader segment of working people and to offer a wider variety of programs and services. Part of that goal is to expand awareness of Working Families’ Friend and the services we provide to working people.

Contribute Online or via Automatic Withdrawal
Make a secure one-time or recurring Online Donation to WFF using PayPal or your credit card. You can also choose to set-up a recurring donation through an automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account. Many of our donors choose this as a very convenient way to donate. Penny Per Hour Program
One unique funding program we use is the Penny an Hour Program. To become a member, a local union or company agrees to pay one penny per hour worked by each member or employee. On average, this amounts to $20.80 per person per year. Fifteen local unions and companies currently give to Working Families’ Friend at this level. Many others give at other levels.

Attend WFF Fundraising Events
Join us at any or all of our yearly events! We host four annual events to fundraise: a Casino Night in the winter, a spring Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament, an Annual Golf Tournament in June, and a family-friendly Fall Picnic & BBQ Cook-Off! 100% of the proceeds for each event benefit Working Families’ Friend.

Employees of the State of Missouri have the opportunity to participate in a charitable giving campaign through work. Employees are able to select which charity will receive their donation. If you are a Federal employee you have the opportunity to participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). All CFC donors are encouraged to select which charity will receive their donation. By designating Working Families’ Friend as the charity of your choice, you help us assist hard working people in your community.
